St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Victoria, B.C., is a prayerful, thoughtful, loving and diverse community of people seeking to live out their Christian faith within the Anglo-Catholic tradition of reverence and practice. Worship is central to our life together. Our Sunday 10:30 Eucharist features a long-standing commitment to thoughtful preaching, careful ritual, and beautiful choral music usually in the early music style. We have an active Sunday school program using Godly Play and other Montessori-based curricula. St Barnabas is a busy parish with a full array of ministries for children and families, young adults, and elders; dedicated outreach and hospitality ministries; and a warm, welcoming, and loving community. Please explore this website to learn more about the life of our parish. Whatever your age or condition, you will find peace, challenge, faith, and friendship here.
In Christ, we:
Proclaim Christ crucified, risen, alive in our midst,
and are stewards of the mysteries of God.
Worship God in the beauty of holiness,
and sing!
Demonstrate love for the neglected and outcast,
and honour one another.
Celebrate in the great tradition of the holy catholic church,
the saints past and the saints present.
Are thankful and amazed.
