Join Ricky Morrison as he shares some images and thoughts about his experience volunteering for a year at the Ghana Technical Vocational Education and Training Service in Accra. If you're curious about - maybe even considered - volunteering in support of international development, this is a great chance to find out what’s involved in getting started, where you can go, what kind of work you might be doing when you get there and whether it’s really worth it. The talk will wrap up with a broader discussion of economic and political inhibitors to development and what might be done about them.

Tea Talks offer the opportunity to broaden one’s understanding, over tea and home-baked scones, about political, cultural and social issues impacting us today and tomorrow. Everyone is welcome.

Free, by donation.
