A solo harpsichord and organ recital celebrating the legacy of the great English composer William Byrd. Entrance by donation.

In demand in his home city of London and beyond as a recitalist, continuo player, vocal coach, repetiteur and conductor, British harpsichordist and early organist Matthew Brown collaborates with established groups such as the Academy of Ancient Music, the OAE, The Sixteen, and Cambridge Handel Opera Company, as well as with emerging ensembles Bellot Ensemble, Il Groviglio, and Istante Collective, and vocal consort The Queenes Chappell, of which he is Artistic Director. He combines his busy performing career with his work as Director of Music at St Mary’s Church, Stoke D’Abernon, where he presides over the baroque Frobenius organ and a flourishing music department.
