Christian Thinking about Ethics and Artificial Intelligence. On Friday, May 22 at 6:45 p.m., St. Barnabas will host an informal screening and discussion of the second of Regent College’s Laing Lectures 2026. This lecture was delivered on March 24, 2026, by Meghan Sullivan. "The Dignity of Work and the Dignity of Learning” Abstract: Dr. Sullivan explores Christian teaching on the dignity of work. Developed in the shadow of the Industrial Revolution, this tradition invites renewal as AI reshapes global economies and social structures. She considers concrete examples in schools and workplaces, showing how the Christian ethical tradition can help guide our use of AI. A brief biography of Dr. Sullivan, along with descriptions of and links to both lectures, is available here.
