The Elders’ Network presents: Understanding the Spiritual Care of Persons with Dementia: A Lenten Journey, 1:30 – 3pm, February 15th, 22nd, and March 1st, 8th; in the church. We are honoured to have two exceptional speakers for this series. Irene Barnes is a retired RN with a specialty in gerontology and Anne McCaffery is the coordinator of Pastoral Care and Volunteers at Mount St. Mary. Refreshments provided. Please RSVP.

Tuesdays with Murray: “The Sign of Jonah: Jesus and the New Theology of His own Generation.” Fr. Kim will present a three-part exposition of the influence of the Wisdom Literature on the ministry and teaching of Jesus. Meets in the church 7:30pm – 9pm, March 6, 13, & 20; refreshments provided.

Don’t Walk, Dance! A movement and dance program for people of all mobility levels. This program is envisioned and put on by Caecilia, our German Volunteer, and there will be two sessions: Thursdays beginning February 8th from 9:30-10:30 for ages 2-5, and sessions for Adults and Seniors TBA. St. Barnabas Spring Break Camp: for grades K-5, March 19th – 22nd, 9:30am – 1pm. We will be making our own puppet theater, puppets and stories. Registration $150 per child, with sibling discounts. Snack and lunch included.

Confirmation and Baptism: classes for adults and children will be offered during Lent. Please speak to the Rector if you or someone in your family is interested in finding out about taking one of these sacramental steps. First Communion classes will also be happing in preparation for Easter.

Tea Talk: Bedazzled and Bedevilled: Beds in Illuminated Manuscripts in Late-Medieval and Early-Modern Europe with Brian Pollick, February 18th, 3:00pm. Tea Talks is a program that combines thought-provoking speakers with homemade high tea. The program is free by donation. Childcare provided. Please RSVP: familylife@stbarnabaschurch.ca

Youth Group: For ages 10-13, will meet on fourth Saturdays of the month in the church hall for fellowship, prayer, games, and cooking projects. Please join us for our first session on February 24th, from 7:30-9:30pm, when we will be baking cookies for the C.A.R.T.S. (Christian Actions Revealing the Spirit) outreach program. Bring a friend!

The River at Home: the winter/spring session of the River at Home starts next week and is still taking registrations. This after-school program for children grades K-5 meets in the home of Travis and Jasmin O’Brian on Mondays from 3:30-5:30 (Feb. 5, 19, 26 and March 4). The cost is $80, with sibling discounts.
