If you are looking for a lively family ministry, a rich tradition of music, Bible study or prayer groups, if you are looking for ways to serve in the community, or wanting to learn more about the Christian faith; if you are desiring to grow closer to God and to find fellowship of many kinds, we invite you to take some time to browse this website.
Compline: Every 3rd Sunday of the Month at 8pm. This quiet, contemplative candlelit service 'completes' the day with plainchant and prayers for peace and rest. Next service May 21st.
Healing Service with Eucharist: Every 1st Wednesday of the month, 7 p.m., next Service May 3rd. An opportunity for either anointing or laying on of hands within the setting of the Mass. To be healed is to be restored wherever we experience brokenness in our lives.
Sunday Sanctuary: Next Service May 7: on Mary, the Mother of Jesus. First Sundays from 4:00-5:00 pm. Our monthly family centered service with wonderful music, hands on activities and quiet time to take a breath before the new week starts.
Please contact the Community Life Minister, Jasmin O'Brian at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to learn more about Sunday Sanctuary, our family service at St. Barnabas.
The Friday Communion: This Friday morning Mass begins at 9:00 am and serves a large group of people from widely divergent backgrounds and histories. Food vouchers redeemable at a local grocery store are distributed at the end of the service.
We meet after Mass for "Coffee and Conversation" at Emmaus Community, across the street from the church.
